We said: <br />DSL (digital subscriber line) is an enhanced service provided by Qwest <br />through its local service telephone lines. It provides high-speed <br />internet access without tying up the telephone line —you can make <br />calls while using the internet. [DSL senrice can generally transmit <br />information faster than cable service.) The City wants to know if there <br />are significant gaps in DSL service from Qwest to Minnetonka residents <br />and businesses. This information will be shared with the commission that <br />regulates Qwest.
