(d) Nothing in subparagraph (a) shall limit the <br />ability of a first mortgagee in possession of a Lct, or its suc- <br />_?___:z anz 3sz_ ns, Rollzwing a a de___ -_or a ?e'_ <br />or other arrangement in lieu of foreclosur? from leasing the Lot <br />for less t`:an six :ronths. <br />ARTICLE '.X <br />ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS <br />Section 1. Residential Use. No Lot shall be used except <br />for residential purposes, except that Declarant shall be entitled <br />to maintain a business and sales office and have model units upon <br />the Lots during the construction and sales period. <br />Section 2. Obstruction of Common Area. There shall be no <br />obstruction of the Common Area nor shall anything be stored in <br />the Common Area without the prior written consent of. the Board of <br />Directors of the Association. <br />Section 3. Pets. Pets shall be allovea in c_n_`criity wi`_h <br />the Rules of the Association. <br />Section 4. Home Occuoations. Notwithstanding Section 1 of <br />this ArzLc:e to the contrary, an Owner may engage in a home occu- <br />pation. A "home occupation" is a use which is incidental and <br />secondary to the principal use of the Let for residential pur- <br />-,oses and does not change the character thereof including, but <br />)t limited to, office and studio uses, weaving, dressmaking and <br />such other uses which by custom are considered accessory to a <br />dwelling. However, that no sign advertising such occupation <br />shall be displayed on the Lot or elsewhere on the Properties, at <br />a special meeting called for this purpose, votes to require the <br />termination of a home occupation because of its objectionable <br />effect on the Properties, the Owner shall immediately thereafter <br />cease and terminate such occupation. <br />Section 5. Clotheslines. No clothes, sheets, blankets or <br />laundry of any kind or other articles shall be hung out or <br />exposed in any part of the Common Area or on any Lot. <br />Section 6. Signs. No sign of any kind shall be displayed <br />to the public view on any Lot or on the Common Area; except that <br />on each Lot the Owner may display one sign of not more than five <br />(5) square feet advertising the Lot for sale, except that <br />Declarant may erect and maintain upon the Propert_es such signs <br />as it deems appropriate to advertise the Properties until the <br />Declarant owns no Lot3 within the Properties. <br />Section 7, Antennas. No television or other antennas <br />visible trcm the private road within the Properties, Brown Road <br />or U.S. Hignway 12 shall be erected or mainta_ned on any Lot <br />- 13 - <br />
