Lake Minnetonka Cable Communications Commission <br />443 OAK STREET • EXCELSIOR, MINNESOTA 55331 • (612) 474.5539 <br />U C�6� 0NJC <br />RN <br />Date: November 7, 1988 <br />To; LMCCC Full Commission - all members <br />From: Holly Hansen <br />Re: Upcoming Meeting/Ordinance Amendment <br />The quarterly full commission meeting of the LMCCC will take place at the <br />Excelsior City Council Chambers on Tuesday, November 15th at 5:00 p.m. <br />It is extremely important that we have a quorum for this meeting in order to <br />amend our Cable Television Ordinance to reflect Dowden's sale to Triax. <br />Our Joint Powers Agreement requires a quorum of "not less than d"0 directors <br />of the Commission representing not less than ten (IO)membersrr in order to <br />amend our franchise. We did not have a quorum present at our full Commission <br />meeting in August to vote on the franchise amendment and this is a business <br />item that absolutely should be taken care of at our November meeting. <br />If you will be unable to attend the LMCCC meeting and will not be representing <br />your city, you should contact your alternate and have that person attend <br />in your place. If you do not know who your alternate is, please contact me <br />or your city hall. <br />The other important business item on the Agenda is to elect a person to fill <br />our vacancy on the Executive Committee, and to elect a Treasurer. These <br />vacancies were created when our past Treasurer, Jerry Roehl, moved out of <br />town this fall. <br />Enclosed for your review prior to the Meeting are the proposal amendments to <br />the Ordinance, the October minutes, and the Third Quarter Report. Please call <br />me if you have any questions on these items. <br />If you are unable to attend the LMCCC meeting on November 15th, please contact <br />me as soon as possible and no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 14th. <br />It is important for me to know prior to the meeting if we will have the <br />quorum necessary to conduct the business listed on the Agenda. <br />If you are unable to attend the meeting, or will be late, your phone call is <br />greatly appreciated.
