INTEROFFICE MEMO <br />DATE: October 25, 1988 <br />TO: City Administrator Mark Bernhardson <br />FROM: Poli re Chief Melvin Kilbo vki/ <br />RE: Step Raise - Officer Charles Schauss <br />Officer Schauss was employed by the Orono Police Department on <br />10/26/87. Since that time, he has made an enormous impression <br />with the City of Spring Park by his personal contact with the <br />city clerk and employees of the City of Spring Park. He has <br />handled "routine matters" in a very caring atmosphere and attitude. <br />He takes pride in his public relation contacts. He has received <br />several commendations from citizens who commented on his <br />consideration of their problems. <br />Therefore, I request Officer Charles Schauss be raised to the <br />one year rate of $12.129 (1987 contract rate) from the previous <br />6 month rate of $10.613 hourly (1987 contract rate). This is <br />to be effective 10/26/88. <br />City of Spring Park has indicated they do not wish to lose <br />this officer. <br />TO: Mayor and City Ccuncil <br />FROM: Mark E.
