91586.8 <br />ORDINANCE NUMBER 25, SECOND SERIES <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 9.10 AND ENTITLED <br />'DANGEROUS WEAPONS AND ARTICLES" <br />The City Council of the City of Orono ordains: <br />11 <br />Ordinance Number 9.10 and entitled "Dangerous weapons and <br />Articles" is amended to read. <br />Subdivision 7. Permits Occasional. Occasional per pits valid for <br />a period of fifteen (15) days or less may be grant-d to clubs or <br />persons as follows: <br />C. The discharge of bow and arrow will be allowed on an <br />occasional basis to remove problematic animals i,�:luding <br />game animals when an individual hunter has o� ained a <br />permit issued by the Chief of Police subject to the <br />following circumstances: <br />1. There is a demonstrated nuisance of that animal to <br />that property owner. <br />2. Property owner has specifically given written <br />permission to a hunter and that hunter has the <br />appropriate state hunting permit. <br />3. That no discharging be done within 100 feet of any <br />property line, within 100 feet of any buildings and 200 <br />feet of any livestock. <br />4. Discharge for purposes of this section shall only be <br />done from an elevated stand that is a minimum of four <br />(4) feet off the ground. <br />5. Can only be done during the appropriate season. <br />5. The hunter receives no compensation for the removal <br />service apart from retention of animals killed. <br />This ordinance becomes effective on October 21, 1986. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a <br />regular meeting held this 13th day of Octo'_)er, 1986. <br />Mary-U. ler, • Mayor <br />AAT ST: <br />Doeothv M.
