#746 - Mike Sjeklocha <br />June 9, 1983 <br />Page 2 <br />Members advised that in approving the proposed addition, the Commission <br />would recommend to Council that no future hardcover variances be granted <br />for the property. <br />Staff asked the Planning Commission to consider the removal of the screened <br />gazebo (154 sq. ft.) in the lakeshore yard. Planning Commission felt it <br />was not necessary to require the removal of the structure but agreed that <br />the s*.r�icture be formally recognized as a non -conforming structure and <br />subjeri. to all pertinent ordinances. <br />Planning Commission recommendation: to approve Mike Sjeklocha's hardcover <br />variance application for a 15' X 25' addition creating a hardcover variance <br />increase of 8% based on the following findings: <br />1. Improvements consistent with other properties on Baldur Park. <br />2. No additional land available. <br />3. No detrimental effects to the public health, safety and welfare. <br />4. Continue to improve property values in the neighborhood <br />Approval is based on the following conditions: <br />1. No future variances granted to this property. <br />2. 11' X 14' screened structure located within 0-75' of the lakeshore <br />protected area is a non -conforming structure and subject to all <br />pertinent ordinances. <br />Staff has drafted a resolution incorporating the Planning Commission <br />recommendations for your review and action. <br />
