UPON MOTION by Kitty Crosby, seconded by John Maresh, the School Board approved <br />the continued use of STS Consultants, LTD for engineering services relating to <br />Phase II underground fuel storage tank contamination exploration. <br />UPON MOTION by Kitty Crosby, seconded by John Maresh, the Board of Education <br />established the regular School Board meeting time at 7:00 p.m., to be held in <br />the middle school vocal music room on the following dates: <br />July 11, 1988 <br />August 8, 1988 <br />September 12, 1988 <br />September 26, 1988 <br />October 10, 1988 <br />October 24, 1988 <br />November 14, 1988 <br />December 12, 1988 <br />January 9, 1989 <br />January 23, 1989 <br />February 13, 1989 <br />February 27, 1989 <br />March 13, 1989 <br />April 10, 1989 <br />April 24, 1989 <br />May 8, 1989 <br />May 16, 1989 (9:30) <br />June 12, 1989 <br />UPON MOTION by Kitty Crosby, seconded by Jim Franklin, the Board of Education <br />designated the State Bank of Long Lake and the Bank of Maple Plain as deposi- <br />tories for the regular funds of this school district and the officers of the <br />Board of Education are hereby authorized in the name of and on behalf of the <br />Board of Education to open or cause to be opened or to continue or cause to be <br />continued accounts with said banks and to execute and deliver to said banks, <br />signature cards supplied by said banks containing said banks usual customer <br />agreement applicable to such accounts and the signatures of the officers or <br />other persons hereinafter named are hereby authorized to act for and on behalf <br />of the Board of Education or otherwise to endorse or cause to be endorsed, to <br />negotiate or cause to be negotiated, or to deposit or cause to be deposited in <br />such accounts any money, checks, drafts, orders, notes or other instruments <br />payable or held by this Board of Education. Said officers are: Dave McKown, <br />Kitty Crosby and Lucie Taylor. <br />UPON MOTION by Kitty Crosby, seconded by Jim Franklin, the Board cf Education <br />approved the following investment depositories and authorized George Stubbs and <br />William Fenholt to transfer funds among these financial institutions for invest- <br />ment purposes: <br />1) Marquette Bank <br />2) Norwest Bank of Minneapolis <br />3) First Bank of Minneapolis <br />4) Midwest Federal Savings and Loan of Minneapolis <br />5) First Minnesota of Wayzata <br />6) Twin City Federal Savings and Loan <br />7) Minnesota School District Liquid Asset Fund Plus <br />8) State Bank of Long Lake <br />9) Bank of Maple Plain <br />10) Norwest Bank - Midland N.A. <br />11) Eaton Vance Investors Fund, Inc. <br />UPON MOTION by Kitty Crosby, seconded by Jim Franklin, the LAKER/PIONEER was <br />designated as the official publication of the Orono School District. <br />UPON MOTION by Kitty Crosby, seconded by Jim Franklin, the official office of <br />thr clerk of the School Board will be the District Office in the middle school <br />building. <br />
