jllr' - - <br />LAKE MINNETONKA CONSERVATION DISTRI �' lelll G uop I <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />TONE/ BAY VILLAGE HALL lJ 11IJJ� <br />June 22, 1988 <br />The regular meeting of the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District CALL TO <br />was called to order by Chairman Rascop at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, June ORDER <br />22, 1988, Tanks Bay Village Hall. <br />Present: Albert Foster (Deephaven), Carl Weisser (Excelsior), Robert ATTENDANCE <br />Pillsbury (Minnetonka), Jan Boswinkel (Minnetorka Beach), John Lewman <br />(Minnetrlsta), Tom Reese (Mound), JoEllen Hurt (Orono), Robert Rascop <br />(Shorewood), Ron Kraemer (Spring Park), Marvin Bjorlln (Tooke Bay), <br />John Malinke (Victoria), and Robert Slocum (Woodland). Communities <br />represented, Twelve (12). <br />Absent: David Cochran (Greenwood), and Mark Westlund (Wayzata) <br />MINUTES, Lawman Moved, Boswinkel Seconded that the m'nutes of the MINUTES <br />May 22, 1988 regular meeting be approved as amendee. (1) to add the <br />comment in the paragraph on "ONE Dredging Policy" that the LMCD leg- <br />islative package include a request that the DNR notify the District <br />regarding dredging applications on the Lake; and (2) Reese requested <br />that his vote on the contract matter be listed as abstention. <br />Motion, Ayes [121, Naye [O]. <br />FINANCIAL REPORT. Hurr Moved, Reese Seconded (1) that the monthly <br />financial report be approved; and (2) that the bills be paid except <br />(a) for the Mlxa settlement ::mounts (which will be reviewed by Hurt <br />and Weisser, with a report to be made at the next Board meeting), <br />and (b) with the addition of the July estimate of $19,918.00 for <br />Arndorfer Associates, Inc. Motion, Ayes (8), Nay$ (4), Lawman, <br />Pillsbury, Rascop and Slocum voting Nay. <br />WATER STRUCTURES 6, ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE and LAKE COMMITTEE. <br />Pillsbury reported that the committees combined for a eke tour June <br />11 and inspected approximately 33 sites. <br />Reese Moved, Boswinkel Seconded that Water Structures and Envi- <br />ronment Committee report be accepted. on, Aye, [12), Nays 10). <br />Pillsbury Moved, Burr Seconded that the Lake Use Comittee report <br />be accepted. Motion, Ayes 1121 Nays 101. <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE, Rascop tied that Lrndorfer had presented <br />his progress report to the committee for developing the Comprehensive <br />Plan, and that the committee recommended (1) using the original <br />charting method to show timetable and per cent of work, (7) that <br />the plan be reduced from three years to two years at the Metropolitan <br />Council's direction; (3) that the June 17 invoice for $16,618.58 <br />be paid subject to providing backup percentagest and (4) that the <br />)uly billing for $19,919.00 be paid subject to review and acceptance <br />by the Advisory Committee at ire next meeting. <br />FINANCIAL <br />REPORT <br />
