Proposed Amen,3ment <br />IS_S_U_E_ - Amending the fee ordinance regarding fireworks to rectify <br />a conflict with the schedule. <br />INTRODUCTION - When the 1988 fee schedule was adopted fireworks <br />were listed_ under Licenses and Miscellaneous Charges at a fee of <br />$10/permit, it was not realized that such permits were also <br />governed under the Uniform Fire Code which has all permits listed <br />at $30.00 per permit. <br />DISCUSSION - In order to rectify the discrepancy it is requested <br />the ordinance be amended to reflect the $30.00 permit fee. The <br />staff review of such permits may entail site visits together with <br />notification of appropriate police and fire personnel. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Adopt <br />2. Delete as a $10 fee leaving it governed under the fire code <br />3. Table for further information <br />4. Take no action <br />5. Amend darin5 1989 review <br />REC_O_MME_N_D_ATIONS_ - It is recommended that the proposed ordinance <br />be adopted as presented. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by , seconded by that the Council <br />approves the proposed amendment to the_ f988 Fee Schedule <br />Ordinance.
