Draft Ordinance - Teen Drinking Parties <br />ISSUE - Presentation of revised .quor ordinance regarding <br />rEs_oonsibi.lity for underage consumption. <br />INTRODUCTION - At the Coun:il's last meeting they adopted an <br />or'cinance amendment -eguarding responsibility ^f individuals <br />allowing alcohol consumption by underage individuals. At the <br />request of the Council the City Attorney rczearched the matter <br />and revs-.k,ed the Ordinance. <br />DISCUSSION - While this Ordinance does impose a duty on the <br />responsible party of the premises 3t is not in State Statute <br />(except for license holders), t. State Statute does state <br />possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages by an underage <br />individual not in the household of his/her parentn or guardian. <br />AiA,'ERNATI VES <br />1.
