Ge,hardson, Public Works Director <br />Dates August 3, 1988 <br />Subject: Golf Cou:-se Clubhouse Roof Replacement <br />During an inspection of structures at the golf course, it was <br />determined that the clubhouse roof is in need of replacement immediately. <br />The person inspecting the roof stepped through the roof in one area and <br />also noticed other weak areas throughout the roof. We have received two <br />estimates for repair, as follows: <br />S.A.I. Construction $5,995.00 <br />Plymouth Roofing 4,840.00 <br />Because the above repairs were not budgeted in the 1988 budget, the <br />monies will have to be borrowed from the general fund contingency and paid <br />back in 1989. <br />RECOMMENDATION - To approve the replacement of the clubhouse roof at a cost <br />of 4,840.00 and to borrow the monies from the general fund continency to <br />be paid back in 1989. <br />PROPOSED MOTION: Moved by _, seconded by to approve the replacement <br />of the c ub� roof at a cost of $4,840.00 and to borrow the monies from <br />the general fund contingency to be paid back in 1989.
