Gerhardson, Public Works Director <br />Date: August 3, 1988 <br />Subject: Crystal Bay Sewer Connections <br />On June 13, 1988, Council received a list of Crystal Bay residents <br />that had not connected to the sanitary sewer system. <br />The list consisted of thirteen addresses of which, one had connected <br />just prior to the Council meeting, three had indicated to us tt ,t they <br />would be connected by July 1, 1988, one uninhabited dwelling, one vacant <br />lot, three are involved in easement negotiations, and two in assessment <br />negotiations. The owner of the uninhabited dwelling has been notified that <br />the dwelling cannot be habited until the connection is completed. <br />The following property owners will receive, by way of Certified <br />Letter, notice that they are in violation of Section 9.02, Subdivision 1 <br />and Section 12.30, Subdivision 4 (B) requiring connection to the sanitary <br />sewer: <br />1271 Arbor Stred% <br />1271 Arbor Street <br />2140 Prospect Avenue <br />1290 Briar Street <br />1245 Arbor Street <br />We will continue negotiations with the property owners that are in <br />easement and assessment negotiations. <br />Be advised that the City of Orono has not connected its facilities to <br />the sewer due to a defferal approval by the Council on August 24, 1987. <br />The deferral was allowed until December 31, 1988 dependant upon the outcome <br />of the facilities study. <br />TO: Mayor and City Council i v- <br />FROM: Mark E.
