Morrow, Chairman of the Board of Governors, <br />Big Island Veterans Camp (hereinafter "the applicant") has an interest in <br />the property located on Big Island per Orono classification Record Lot 1 <br />located at 215 Hollander Poad within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") <br />and legally described as follows: <br />Government Lot One (1), Section Fourteen (14), Township One E'undre'! <br />Seventeen (117), Range Twenty -Three (23); and Government Lot Two (2). <br />Section Twenty -Three (23), and that part of Government Lot Three (3), <br />Section Twenty-three (23), commenci..g at the Northeast corner of said <br />Government Lot Three (3), Section Twenty -Three (23); thence <br />Southwesterly along the lake shore '_o ;he Northeast corner of I.ot A, <br />Morse Island Park; Thence South 350 feet to Lake Minnetonka; Thence <br />East along the shore of Lake Minnetonka to the East line of said Lot <br />Three (3); thence North to the place of begins i ng (hereinafter "the <br />t roperty") ; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City of Orono for a <br />Cnnditi.onel Use Permit to allow a Day OF recreation area for L e property <br />at a maximum 240 user level per day per Municipal zoning Code Section <br />10.31, S,,bdi vision 3 (C). <br />Minnesota: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This Application was reviewed as Zor° , File #1277. <br />2. The property is located in the RS, Seasonal Recreational Zoning <br />District, requiring a minimum of 5 acres in area. The property <br />consists of approximately 57 acres in area. <br />3. on June 6, 1986. the Oron.
