City of OR(7NO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL <br />OF A SUBDIVISION APPLICATION <br />FOR KAREN 4 RICHARD ZIMINSRI <br />FILE NO. 1214 <br />WHEREAS, Karen b Richard Ziminiski (hereir►aftQr "the applicants") <br />on September 25, 1987 filed a formal subdivision application with the <br />City for a division ui , lots of z property legally described as follows: <br />See Exhibit A, (hereinafter "property"); and <br />WHEREAS, after due published and mailed notice in accordance with <br />Minn`Eota Statues 462.358 et. seq. and the City of Orono Zoning and <br />Platting Codes, the Orono Planning Commission held public hearings on <br />October 19, 1987 and December 21, 1987 at which times all persons desiring <br />to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak <br />thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, at their regular meeting held on February 8, 1968 the <br />Orono City Council considered the subdivision application of the <br />applicants, notinq the following findings of fact: <br />1. The property is located within the RR-lB Single Family Rural <br />Residential zoning dis*rict requiring a minimum of 2 -acres of <br />contiguous dry buildable land within each nt'wl;; created lot.. <br />2. The property contains a total of 6.2 acres, all of which is <br />considered dry buildable. <br />3. The proposed plat contains 2 lots each -ting the 2 acre ir' um <br />lot area requirement. <br />4. Each lot shall be served by an existing curb cut. Lot 1 snail <br />access only off County Road 6 end Lot 2 shall access only off Borth <br />Brown Road. <br />5. All of the lots meet t t wired 200' width adjacent to the road <br />and at the rear of the fre. rd setback line. A single family <br />residence can r„, ronstzuc*ea on Lot 2 without the need for any <br />variances. <br />6. rept i c testin confirmed that each lot contains adequate and <br />suitah]o soils fa- ite sewage treatment disposal systems. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
