Supplement No. 1 to <br />Agreement No. PW 74-08-87 <br />VI <br />Within sixty (60) days after an award by the County to the successful bidder, <br />the City shall deposit with the Hennepin County Treasurer, ten percent (10%) of the <br />estimated City share in the cp^tract construction and engineering costs for the <br />project except the street lighting shall be 100`b of the estimated construction cost. <br />Said estimated City share shall be based on actual contract unit prices for estimated <br />quantities shown in the plans. <br />The City shall then, on a monthly basis starting May 1, 1988, reimburse the <br />County in five payments each of sixteen percent (16%) of the estimated City share of <br />the contract construction and engineering cost for all other items to a totA' J <br />eighty percent (80%). <br />The remaining ten percent (10%) is to be paid to the County upon the completion <br />of the project and submittal to the City of the County Engineer's Final Estimate for <br />the project showing the City's final share in the contract construction and <br />engineering costs for the project. <br />Upon payment of the Final Estimate to the successful bidder by Hennepin County, <br />any amount remaining as a balance in the deposit account will be returned to the City; <br />likewise any amount due the County by the City upon payment of the Final Estimate by <br />the County shall then be paid by the City as its final payment for the construction <br />and engineering cost of this project. <br />XII <br />It is understood and agreed that upon completion of the improvement proposed <br />herein, all concrete sidewalk and street lighting included in said improvement shall <br />become the property of the City and all maintenance, restoration, repair or <br />
