Legal Description of Property <br />Government Lot One (1), Section Fourteen (14), Township One <br />Hundred Seventeen (117), Range Twenty-three (23); and Government <br />Lot Two (2), Section Twenty-three (23), Township One Hundred <br />Seventeen (117), Range Twenty-three (23); and That part of <br />Government Lot Three (3), Section Twenty-thre (23), Township <br />One Hundred Seventeen (117), Range Twenty-three (23), commencing <br />at the Northweast Corner of said Government Lot Three (3), Section <br />Twenty-three (23); thence Southwesterly along the lake shore to <br />the Northeast corner of Lot A, Morse Island Park; thence South <br />350 feet to Lake Minnetonka; thence East along the shore of Lake <br />Minnetonka to the East line of said Lot Three (3); thence North to <br />the place of beginning, (hereinafter "property"). <br />2. Clean Up and Renovation Plan <br />Schedule <br />Approval to allow overnight tent camping fc_ work parties accom- <br />plishing cleanup and renovation activities necessary to allow camp <br />opening is needed immediately. <br />Approval for opening of the Camp for day camping as well as over- <br />night tent camping uses by owner -veterans is sought for June 1988. <br />Due to the short season, if problems are encountered in completing <br />requirements for overnight tent camping, an opening limited to day <br />camping with later expansion of overnight tent use would be pre- <br />ferred. <br />Scope <br />The cleanup and renovation activities required to allow the camp to <br />be opened include the following key projects: <br />a. Renovation and refurbishment of latrines to allow use by <br />campers and workers. (possible interim use of Satelites for <br />day camping) <br />b. Cleanup and burning of brush and wood product scrap. <br />C. Provide water at each picnic and latrine site. <br />d. Establishment of fire alarms and response stations at Point <br />Charming and playground areas. <br />
