City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />N O. , 9 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTI11G <br />PRELIMINARY APPROVAL FOR <br />A PLAT AT 375 LEAF STREET AND <br />3300 BAYSIDE ROAD <br />APPLICATION NO. 1174 <br />WHEREAS, Craig K. Anderson on June 26, 1987 filed a formal <br />subdivision application with the City for approval of a two -lot <br />residential plat of property legally described as: <br />All of Lot 12, Auditor's Subdivision Number 203, Hennepin County, <br />Minnesota, EXCEPT that part described as follclrs: beginning at <br />the southeast corner thereof; thence West along the south line of <br />said Lot 12 a distance of 310 feet; thence North and parallel <br />with the east line of said Lot 12, to the right-of-way line of <br />the Minnesota Western Railroad; thence Southeasterly along the <br />Northerly line of said Lot 12 to the Northeast corner thereof; <br />thence South 80 feet to place of beginning. <br />All of Lot 13, Auditor's Subdivision Number 202, Hennepin County, <br />Minnesota, EXCEPT that part described as follows: Beginning at <br />the Northeast corner thereof; thence West along the North line of <br />said Lot 13 a distance of 310 feet; thence South and parallel <br />with the East line of said Lot 13 a distance of 124.7 feet; <br />thence East and parallel with the North line of said Lot 13 a <br />distance of 310 feet; thence North 124.7 feet to place to <br />beginning. <br />All of Lot 18 and the West 121 feet of Lot 16 in Auditor's <br />Subdivision Number 203, Hennepin County, Minnesota <br />(hereinafter "the property") and; <br />WHEREAS, after due published and mailed notice in accordance <br />with Minnesota Statues 462.358 et. sec a.-_ the City of Orono Zoning <br />and Platting Codes, the Orono Plannlny mmission held a public <br />hearing on July 20, 1987, at which time all persons desiring to be <br />heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak <br />thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, at their regular meeting held on September 28, 1987, <br />the Orono City Council considered the subdivision application of <br />Craig K. Anderson noting the following findings of fact: <br />1.. The property is located within the LR-lA Single Family <br />Lakeshore Residential zoning district requiring a minimum of 2 <br />acres of contiguous dry buildable land within each newly created <br />lot. <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
