OTcDnAwCL NO. <br />A14 ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF <br />ORONO BY AMENDING SECTION 34.037 AND LIDDING <br />A CHAPTER 110 RELATI:JG TO THE KEEPING AND <br />MATNTAI14ING OF CERTAIN DOMESTIC ANIMALS <br />WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF ORONO AND ESTABLISHING <br />A LIVESTOCK COMMISSION. <br />THE VILLAGE OF ORONO ORDAINS: <br />Section 1. The Municipal Code of the Village of Orono <br />it amended by adding Chapter 110 as follows: <br />110. ANIMAL REGULATION <br />110.10. Animals Defined. As used in this chapter, <br />except in Section 110.100, animal shall mean any specie <br />of cattle, horse, ass, mule, sheep, svinc, ,oct or any other <br />�inimai wYjicil would normally not be housed in <br />the residence of its owner or in a kennel. <br />110.20. Animals at Large. No person --,hall permit <br />any animal of which he is the owner, caretaker or custodi-- <br />to run at large within the Village. Any animal shall be <br />deemed to be at large if said animal is: <br />(a) Not picketed, confined in a corral or <br />otherwise restricted by a properly <br />constructed and maintained legal fence, <br />(b) Off the premises owned or rented by <br />the animal's owner and not accompanied <br />by the owner or an a�;::nt or employee <br />of the owner, <br />(c) 11crded Upon any land over the protest <br />and -again_t the will of the owner of <br />said land. <br />11 <br />
