Conducting interviews of interested candidates for the <br />vacancy on the Planning Commission. <br />Issue 2. Selecting an individual to fill the vacancy created by <br />the resignation of Paul Taylor. <br />Issue 3. Review of designations to see if persons currently on <br />the Planning Commission need to have designations changed in <br />order to meet the guidelines setforth in Attachment D. <br />INTRODUCTION - With the resignation of Paul Taylor, who has been <br />a rural representative on the Planning Commission, the City staff <br />was directed to advertise in the paper together with s?nding <br />letters to those who last year had indicated an interesz� jr, the <br />Planning Commission together with Park Commission members. <br />Additionally as noted in Attachement D t`.e Council had adopted an <br />ordinance for the appointment of Planning Commission that related <br />not (-)nly to "Rural" (2), "At Large" (2) and "Urban" ("_) <br />designations but also to "Lake" residence (1). Currently the <br />only "Urhan" representative is Jeff Johnson. <br />DISCUSSION - <br />Issue 1. - Attachment B is appended to provide a format for the <br />interview of each of the rand Hates who have indicated an <br />interest. <br />Issue 2. - selection - The iounc•i1, following interviews, will <br />need to appcint an individual for Planning commission hasrd not <br />only on thhe persons oral presentation but also the nrPds as they <br />1 <br />
