42988.4 <br />'r0: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Mark Tlo�:rn trdson, City Administrator <br />VATR: A,).i' )88 <br />SOl3JRCT: r'1 mmission Interviews <br />It•i�'I .3 <br />Attachm^nt t, ling Commission Interview Memo Dated 4/15/88 <br />ISSUE, - election of an individual to fill 'he vacant Planning <br />Comm; �s�,-)n position. <br />INTRODUCTION - At the Council's last meeting they reviewed five <br />of the candi:iates who had indicated interest in the Planning <br />Commission position and had table' the matter for the May 9, 1988 <br />meeting. <br />DISCUSSION - The Council based on the information and interviews <br />is requested to appoint a candidate for the position based, in <br />part, on the designations outlined in Attachment D of Attachment <br />A. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that the Council at this <br />,eeting select an individual to fill the vacancy created by Paul <br />.aylcr's resignation. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by , seconded by , that the Council <br />appoint as a new Planning Commissioner for the Orono <br />Planning Commission.
