MARCH 15, 1988 <br />Pace Three <br />V. DOWDEN SALE CONTINUED <br />Motion 3.15.88.4: Anderson moved, seconded by Olds, to ild a <br />public hearing April 12, 1988 to adopt said Resolution: <br />-Commission determines that the proposed sale of Dowden Cable Partners, <br />L.N. may adversely affect the subscribers of the Lake Minnetonka <br />Cable Communications Commission. Commission staff is instructed <br />to notify Dowden Cable Partners, L.P. and Triax Midwest Associates, L.P. <br />that a public hearing will be held within 30 days of this meeting. <br />Further, Commission staff is instructed to notify Dowden and 'max <br />that the Commission is seriously concerned with the failure to <br />satifactorilly resolve the system's inability to receive Regional <br />Channel 6. Further, failure to proposed an acceptable resolution to <br />the Regional Channel 6 issue will seriously impact the Commission's <br />ability to adequately consider the proposed transfer of ownership. <br />'')lion carried unanimously. <br />i Creighton also informed the Commission that they have the right <br />to purchase the system, but most sales are costly and complex. <br />Motion 3.15.88.5: Johnson moped, seconded by Olds, to waive the <br />right to buy the franchise. Motion carried unanimously. <br />IV.
