<br />The Orono Drama Department will present the family
<br />comedy, "Quiet Summer" on April 7, 8, and 9 at 1:30
<br />p.m. in the high school audlto.ium. Tickets may he
<br />reserved by calligg the high school office at 473-5472.
<br />They must be picked up by 3:00 p.m. prior to the eve-
<br />ning performance. ttemainli.g tickets will be on sale
<br />at the door each evening. Senior citizens and district
<br />pass holders may pick up free tickets to the opening
<br />night performance on April 7. That is Elie only night
<br />that passes will be honored. Tickets are $2.00 a seat.
<br />Unr-arried attorney James Clark (Mark Tomlinson) has it
<br />quiet summer planned. His plans are disrupted when his
<br />sirtar Lillian (Julie Knudsen) and her husband Clifford
<br />(Andy Mechavich) drop their teen -aged children Sonny
<br />and Pamela off on the way to a trip to Mexico. Sonny
<br />(Chip Brown) and Pamela (Jodi Ruhrer) bring toys, girls,
<br />dogs, and ni,isa into the Cla k household. James' sec-
<br />retary and girlfriend Helen (Kristin Richard) and his
<br />housekeeper-.arrie (Heidi Dwinnell) try to deal with
<br />the household matters and James' impatience with Sonny
<br />and Pamela. This very tunny comedy is a.tudent-directed
<br />by Anita King and Robb Grandt. Come and prepare to
<br />be entertained.

<br />Money Management for Fammes closets are Tuesdays,
<br />April 5 and 12, 7:00 - StYl p.m. at the Maple Plain
<br />Llbr.iry. Subjects include: spending/savings plans,
<br />record -keeping, values and money, setting goalr, credit
<br />use and debt reduction. Financial management consult-
<br />ants teaching the c 4sams are trained by the Kxtersion
<br />Service, University of Minnesota. Classes are free

<br />dergarten students plus any other interested parents,
<br />are invited to attend :. neeting in the Ungraded area
<br />at Schumann %lementa:y School. This will be an Infor-
<br />mational meeting to acquaint you with this alternative
<br />program.

<br />nesday. April 6, and any parents intereste. in their
<br />child being a part of the Ungraded area for grades
<br />1-3 should return the fors to the Schumann Elementary
<br />office by Friday. April 15. The meeting will begin

<br />The Schumann Eietnkatary Physical Education department
<br />will present "Every Child a Winner" on Iuesday, Aril
<br />5, at 7:00 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.
<br />All children in grades 1-3 will take part. Each class-
<br />room will present a small part of our physical education
<br />program. There will be warm up activities, ,tames, rhyth-
<br />mic and ball activitie9. In addition, hoop, parachute,
<br />and scooter activities, plus others, will be presented.
<br />Plan on coming t, see and enjoy an evening of fun ac-
<br />tiolties. We want to show you what the students do
<br />throughout the year in physical education.

<br />The senl9t high school Home Economics students will con-
<br />duct a play school as part of their study in child de-
<br />velopment. The echo- will be held Wednesday and Thurs-
<br />day mornings from 9:OU to 10:15 and or Friday morning
<br />frost 9:40 to 11:00. Play school will start May 11 and
<br />end May 27. We need six girls and six boys who:
<br />1. Are at least ; years old, but net old enough
<br />to attend kindergarten in the fall of 1988.
<br />2. Have transportation to school and back home.
