The interceptor system is the system <br />that starts in the west end of Minnetonka Beach and tons up <br />County Road 19 and east on County Road 51 to the old Orono rreneh <br />Lake sewer plant. This is the line that was originally put in <br />during the Orono sewer construction and over the years has at <br />times exceeded the capacity that it was designed to handle. This <br />has resulted in sawago, not only in basements but raw sewage over <br />flowing out of the lift stations and being dumped into Lake <br />Minnetonka. MWCC has programmed to improve this for the past few <br />years and is at present in the process of awarding the project o r <br />•n engineering firm to determine the most appropriate way to <br />merest the problem. Additionally they have programmed about two <br />million dollars to actually fund the improvement ptujeet. <br />P reprisals wen submitted Ly three engineering firms of w <br />Bonestr00 was One.
