Bergquist <br />2339 Olive Ave. <br />Wayzata, MN 55391 <br />Re: 2339 Olive Ave - Hazardous Building <br />Dear Ms. Bergquist: <br />On November 11, 1987 I was notified by the Orono Police Department <br />chat your house at the above subject property is in a hazardous condition. <br />On February 23, 1988 I conducted an inspection at my request with <br />Robert Nelson. During this inspection I found the following hazardous <br />conditions: <br />Footings i Foundation <br />1. Footing of structure are failing causing exterior walls to drop <br />6" to 8" - living room, kitchen, bedroom, and entry way. <br />2. Foundation walls are failing caused by footing failure. <br />3. Floor joist first floor - failing caused by failing footing and <br />foundation 6" to 8" bow on floor joist in lining room, kitchen, <br />bedroom, and entry way. <br />Heating <br />4. Coleman super circulator oil furnace installed improperly - vent <br />pipe has no clearance to compustibl=s @ wall penatration and <br />penatration into chimney. <br />Kitchen <br />5. Floor - bowed out to exterior wall 6" to 8" drop middle to <br />exterior wall. <br />6. Walls - water damaged from leaking roof. <br />7. Ceilings - water damaged from leaking roof. <br />8. Ex'erior door - door doesn't open all the way, from floor bowing. <br />Kitchen Plumbing <br />9.
