LMCD Board Minutes <br />February 27, t988 <br />Page 3 <br />Pillsbury <br />Moved, HLirr Seconded that <br />the first reading of the Code <br />CODE <br />amendment <br />regarding the aloption of <br />State BWI rules be accepted, <br />AMENDMFNT: <br />that the <br />second and third readings be <br />waived, and that the proposed <br />STATE <br />ordinance <br />be adopted (Ordinance No. <br />97). Motion, Ayes [12), NayE <br />BWI <br />[o]. <br />Hurr Moved, Reese Seconded that the second reading of the recodifi- RECODIFI- <br />cation be accepted, and chat Draft #6 be distributed. Motion, Ayes CATION <br />[12], Nays [0). <br />RESOLUTION_: Reese Moved, Pillsbury Seconded that proposed Resolution RESOLUTION: <br />No. 59, implementing the fishing contest policy, be adopted. Motion, FISHING <br />A -es [12], Nays [0). CONTESTS <br />OTHER BUSINESS: Chairman Rascop welcomed John Lewman of Minnetrista <br />to the Board; Lewman is completing the term of Wally Clevenger who <br />also served as Secretary of the Board. <br />Rascop opened the floor for nominations to fill the Secretary <br />vacancy. <br />Hurr Moved, Kraemer Seconded that Weisser be nominated as Secretary SECRETARY: <br />of the District. Weisser Moved, Hurr Seconded that Reese be nomi- NOMINATED, <br />nated as Secretary of the District. Eecce declined the nomination. <br />Weisser withdrew his nomination. <br />Boswinkel Moved, Bjorlin Seconded that nominations for Secretary ELECTED <br />be closed and that Weisser be elected Secretary of the District by <br />unanimous vote. Motion, Ayes (12), Nays [0]. <br />The Executive Director reported that the Bookkeeper/Clerk resigned. <br />Garwood Moved, Pillsbury Seconded that a Bookkeeper/Clerk be hired BOOKKEEPER/ <br />now. Motion, Ayes [12], Nays [0). CLERK <br />Bjorlin Moved, Reese Seconded that the goals established at the Jan- <br />uary 23, 1988 work session be adopted as follows: <br />Goals - Summary: Short Term GOALS: <br />1.
