Now you <br />can have all the speed and flexibility <br />of a state-of-the-art computer coupled <br />to a smart, easy -to -use voter actuated <br />ballot tabulating system. <br />■ VARIABLE WIDTH/LENGTH BALLOT The <br />OPTECH 111-P reads single, double or triple column <br />ballot widths with only a simple adjustment. Printing <br />is single color on both front and back. Ballots are <br />easily readable and can vary in length from 14” to <br />over 20". OPTECH 111-P ballot size flexibility translates <br />into dramatically reduced printing costs for each <br />election. <br />m EASY TO USE The voter simply completes the <br />•rrow pointing to his/her choice and inserts the <br />ballot (any orientation) in the OPTECH 111-P. In less <br />than one second, OPTECH automatically counts each <br />vote, stores the information in the BRC Memorypack` <br />1pdates the precinct totals, and direc, 'ie ballot to <br />k. ,e proper ballot box. Blank, write-in . j overvoted <br />!lots can be automatically separated by the com- <br />puter with i simple switch selection. Overvoted <br />ballots can be returned to the voter for correction, if <br />desired. The public counter displays the i.umber of <br />processed ballots. <br />When the polls close, precinct totals are printed out <br />by inserting a key into the control panel and rotating <br />it a quarter turn. The alphanumeric printout pre- <br />sents the office title, candidate names, and their <br />respective vote totals in -two colet- for easy reading. <br />
