b. Accumulated vacation leave cannot be transferred from one <br />employee to another employee. <br />C. A minimam of te., (10) days vacation must be taken <br />annually and no more than 14 days accrued from year to <br />year with the balance being lost on December 31st, unless <br />otherwise approved by the Administrator. <br />d. The maximum vacation allowed to be paid out on <br />termination is thirty (30) days. <br />307. HOLIDAYS <br />1. The City shall observe the following as official holidays for <br />all regular full-time employees: <br />New Year's Day <br />Martin Luther King's Birthday <br />Presidents' Day <br />Memorial Day <br />Independence Day <br />Labor Day <br />Columbus Day or Friday after Thanksgiving* <br />Veterans' Day <br />Thanksgiving Day <br />Christmas Day <br />In additon they shall receive one personal holiday to be <br />scheduled and approved in the same manner as vacation. <br />* As determined by Department Head and approved by the <br />Administrator. <br />2. All regular full-time employees will be entitled to receive <br />pay for official holidays, at their normal straight time rates. <br />Employees on sick leave Dr vacation shall receive holiday pay. <br />Holiday pay shall not be earned b;r any employee during a leave of <br />absence without pay, suspension or time otherwise not worked or <br />paid or otherwise not compensated. <br />3. Non-exempt regular fill -time employees who are required to <br />work on a holiday shall receive an additional time and a half pay <br />in addition to their normal holiday pay for hours actually worked, <br />depending on their eligibility as specified in the provisions for <br />overtime in the Compensation Plan or shall receive another day off <br />in lieu of the holiday at the discretion of the Department Head. <br />308. SICK LEAVE <br />1. Eligibity for sick leav_ _ authorized absence from duty with <br />pay, granted to regular employees who meet certain requirements. <br />Sick leave is not to he used at the discretion of the employee. <br />Sick leave shall be allowed only in case of nmcessity and actual <br />need as explained below. Al regular full-time employees shall <br />accumulate eight (8) hours of paie sick leave per month, not to <br />3 <br />
