However, for those employees hired prior to January 1, 1988: If <br />the semi-annual review reflects an earnings rate that whould be <br />LESS than the originally established level then the rate will <br />remain at the originally established level. <br />If the semi-annual review reflects an earnings rate that should <br />be MORE than the originally established level, then the earnings <br />rate shall be increased to that new level. <br />NOTE! Once the ear-'ngs rate increases above the level originally <br />established the employee is treated as if hired after January 1, <br />1988 and subsequent semi-annual reviews for benefits, as covered <br />by this policy will determine the vacation, sick leave, and <br />holiday. <br />NOTE! The City policy for health insurance for all qualified <br />part-time regular City employees is a contribution of 100% of the <br />cost of employee only coverage for those selecting single <br />coverage, or a maximum in 1988 of $176.00 per month toward the <br />cost of family coverage, and the City policy for basic single <br />life insurance is a contribution of 100% of the cost. This <br />policy will remain unchanged for those elegible part-time <br />employees hired prior to January 1, 1988. <br />c <br />
