Adoption of this denial resolution does not <br />preclude the Council from adopting a resolution for approval of a <br />conditional use permit and variance for just the bank restoration project <br />at a later date should the applicant eventually submit an approvable bank <br />restoration plan. Applicant has not yet verified which of the proposed <br />methods suggested by the City Engineer as suitable he wishes to proceed <br />with. <br />Council would appear to have a number of options: <br />A. Adopt the denial resolution under the assumption that applicant <br />will eventually submit an acceptable proposal, at which time a <br />resolution for a conditional use permit/variance approval can be <br />adopted. <br />B. Table this application until such time that applicant submits a <br />suitable grading plan, and incorporate the walkout cut denial into a <br />conditional use permit/variance approval resolution. <br />C. Direct staff to draft a resolution of approval of the current <br />plan, if Council feels that that plan is conceptually acceptable. <br />
