It is hoped <br />these will be finalized by January 11, 1988. <br />Continuatior. of the decorative 1ig'ainy Lyle that is being put <br />in Mound would cost approximately _ ___ to be continued from the <br />Spring Park border through County 19. See Attachment B, as to <br />style. This could be financed either by assessing abutting <br />property owners or through the general tax rolls or a combination <br />of those. As far as possible actions the City could take in <br />relationhip to this are the following: <br />1. Do nothing or defer t.-•. resolution to some point in <br />the future. <br />2. Install conduit e�-. etc. in conjunction with the <br />project Lut not install t},e decorative lights at this <br />tine replacing the present street lights with she <br />existing style. (The advantage to this is that the City <br />would save substantial cost by placing the conduit in <br />the ground now opposed to having to install it at a <br />later date but the project costs ,lated to replace the <br />existing lights -ou ld not be used to cons ct the new <br />ones.) <br />3. Install new lights in conjun: -4ith the proje, <br />and ust t"E project money slatec replacement to <br />defray the cost of the new lights. <br />ALTERNATIVES - <br />Issue 1 <br />1.
