Mr. Mark Albrecht
Woodhill Country Club
August 16, 1989
Page 2
5. Licensed Premises Only (Section 4.07) - The premises
where a co of whou-17-be allowed to be consumed should be
specified in the license application. Given the nature
of "The Barn" there may be the tendency for persons to
venture outside the confines and alcohol consumption as
such would be a violation if "The 3arn" itself were the
licensed premises.
6. Tnsur_ance Certificate (Section 4.14)
7. Apo-uoriate Zoning (Section 4.16 Subd. 11) - Country
Clubs - conditional use in the residential zone. A
brief L_ w of our files does not indicate that the
City has a conditional use permit for the Country Club
to operate as such. This would'be separate and distinct
from any conditional use permit that was obtained as
part of the recent maintenance facilities construction.
8. Minors On Licensed Premises (Section 4.17) - Several
provisions in t e ordinance address this issue. Minors
are not allow to consume on the premises. As noted this
includes any consumption even in the presence of
parents. Minors are only permitted under the ordinance
to consume non -intoxicating malt liquor in their parents
household.
9. Gambling/Gaming (Section 4.31 Subd 4) - The nature
of The Barn may be such that persons may desire to
undertake various types of social "gambling". Unless
such is permitted under City ordinance it would be a
violation and perhaps have a detrimental effect on the
license ability of "The Barn".
10. Hours of Sale (Section 4.16 Subd. 2 C) - The
City recently amended the sections for on -sale and off -
sale liquor as it related to `ours of sale.
As we discussed at our meeting it wou_ be appropriate to
have the City's Building Inspector review the building during the
licensing process together with inspections and reviews by the
Police Department.
While there may be other conditions that will be attendant to
such a licensing, the initial review would indicate a need for an
additional condition on the license. This condition would be for
the removal or secured storage of any liquor at "The Barn" as it
is ent
sis
broken
not
(despite the fact thatuthere amaybe na security alarm easilyd could be
intosystem.)
2
