Lauer. I am writing to ask <br />that the City of Oronc delete any requirement that the successors <br />to Hennepin County Document No. 3028744 consent in writing to the <br />creation of a public roadway easement over t'-.. northerly portions <br />of the above-referencEd plat. <br />The Wayzata Country Club is the owner of a 14.1 acre tract <br />of land just off or Ferndale Road in the City of Orono. Some <br />time ago the Country Club contracted to sell approximately 2.8 <br />acres of that land to Ronald D. Lauer for purposes of <br />constructing a house thereupon. In order to carry out that <br />purchase agreement, Mr. Lauer filed a subdivision application <br />with the City of Orono. <br />On July 28, 1989, the Orono City Council adopted a <br />resolution for preliminary approval of the plat. Paragraph 7 on <br />gage 2 of the resolution requires that the north 25 feet of the <br />property be dedicated as an outlot and that Mr. Lauer grant the <br />City a road and utility easement over that outlot. <br />Contemporaneous with Mr. Lauer's subdivision application, the <br />City of Orono was also entertaining a subdivision request from <br />Leo Hauser who owns the tract lying between the subject property <br />and Ferndale Road. The City directed Mr. Lauer and htr. Hauser to <br />combine their subdivisions into or,e plat. The proposed plat was <br />prepared showing the north 25 feet of the plat as Outlots B and <br />C. Easement_ deeds were prepared running from the Country Club <br />and .from Mr. Lauer and from Mr. & Mrs. Hauser to the City of <br />Orono for road and utility purposes. <br />
