Resolution Providing for Collection of <br />Delinquent Developer and Alarm User Fees <br />Proposed Assessment Roll <br />DISCUSSION - The City has a policy of billing developers for <br />legal, engineering or other additional costs incurred in the <br />process of reviewing, investigating and administering <br />applications, Jicenses and permits, as provided in Orono <br />ML: ticipal Code, Chapter 1. In addition, the code provides for <br />certification of unpaid costs in Section 1.05, Subdivision 5. <br />The ordinance regulating the use of alarms provides for charging <br />a fee for each false alarm in excess of three alarms per calendar <br />year. All delinquent alarm fees are to be certified to the <br />- County and assessed against the properties served and collected <br />with the taxes for the subsequent year. <br />we have obtained a levy number for collection of the $4,866.59 in <br />unpaid amounts. It is recommended that the City add ten percent <br />(10%) to the amounts listed for administration and carrying <br />costs. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _ , seconded by , to adopt <br />Resolution providing for the collection of delinquent <br />Developers' Fees and Alarm Users' fees in the amount of $4,866.59 <br />and to add 10.0% interest to the amounts due.
