CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO.7597 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION <br />WHEREAS, the city of Orono is authorized by Minn. Stat. 465.03 to accept donations of property <br />for the benefit of its people and is specifically authorized to accept gifts; and <br />WHEREAS, Brady's K9 Fund has offered to donate a K9 ballistic vest for K9 Officer Onyx to <br />the Orono Police Department; and <br />WHEREAS, the value of this donation is $1,500.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the donation has been donated to Orono for the benefit of its residents; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is appropriate to accept the donation. <br />RESOLVED that the Orono City Council gratefully accepts the donation of a K9 ballistic vest. <br />FURTHER, police department staff will acknowledge receipt of the donation and express <br />appreciation to Brady's K9 Fund. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held on July 14, 2025. <br />ATTEST: <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />Christine Lusian, City Clerk Bob Tunheim, Mayor <br />41 <br />
