Driveways for redeveloping properties within the Shoreland Overlay District shall be subject to the <br /> follo�vin�minimum dimensional standaids to allow for safety,fiuzctionality,maneuverability and off- � <br /> street parking: <br /> a. All garages used or likely to be used for the storaje of inotor vehicles shall be provided <br /> with an apron, taper and driveway. � <br /> b. Minimum apron width: Equivalent to outer width of garage door openin;s (see <br /> cliagram) <br /> Typical: One-stall - 9'ininimum <br /> Two-stall - 16' miiiimum <br /> • Three-stall- 28' minimuin <br /> c. `� Minimum apron depth: End-load: 15' from garage door face <br /> ' Side-load: 20' from garage door face <br /> d. Minimum lengthwise taper ratio: 2:1 <br /> e. Minimum driveway width: 8' <br /> f. Minimum back-up apron dimensions (if required due to hijh-traffic road): 8' x 8' <br /> The above standards are illustrated in the drawing attached to this Resolution as Exhibit A. <br /> 2. Driveways usin�pavers shall be considered as 100% hardcover. � <br /> 3. "Wheel-strip"driveways will be allowed,but for hardcover calculation purposes the entire <br /> width of the driveway(from outside-to-outside of strips) wiil be considered as hardcover. <br /> 4.
