City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING AHATEIRMT OF <br />HAZARDOUS BUILDING %CTION AT.,3445 CRYSTAL BAY-R A�-, <br />WHEREAS, the Ci-y of Orono is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing unae: the laws of the State of Minnescta, and <br />WHEREAS, Gloria M,-Donald, 3445 Crystal Bay Road, Wayzata, <br />Minnesota, is the fee owner of record of property located at 3445 <br />Crystal Bay Road, Orono, Minnesota, herein referred to as the <br />Property, and :Legaliy described as follows: <br />That Part of Lot 4 lying South of Road and Northerly of a <br />line running from a point on Westerly line thereof <br />distance 113 5/10 feet Northerly of Southwest corner <br />thereof to a point on Easterly line thereof distance 83 <br />feet Northerly of Southeast corner thereof, Wiley's <br />Park Lake Minnetonka Lot 4, Block 1. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of. Orono, having dull., <br />considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 463.15 <br />to 463.2G1, hereby finds that the vacant building on North side of <br />property is unhabitable and contains unsanitary and hazardous <br />conditions which constitute a public nuisance and which makes this <br />property hazardous to the public health, safety and welfare based on <br />the following findings: <br />1.Roof leaks. <br />2.Interior has been damaged by water (rot, etc.). <br />3.Exterior walls - wood rotten at bottom. <br />4.Is not hooked to City sewer. <br />S.Is full of debris and stored items which have been damaged by <br />water - fire hazard exists. <br />6.Builcling is in a state of deterioration and dilapidation, <br />thus it is a safety and health hazard pursuant to Minnesota <br />State Building Code/Uniform Building Code, Section 203. <br />7.Orders to removed the structure were issued by the Building <br />Official on June 24, 1985.
