The four suspects were all juvenile males, ages 13, 14, 14, and 17. <br />The charges for the cases included Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle (MV), MV Theft, Tamper <br />with MV, False Information to a Police Officer, Receiving Stolen Property, 1" Deg <br />Damage to Property and Reckless Driving. <br />Theft / Fraud <br />Officers received theft from auto reports that occurred at the Susan E. Lurton Dog <br />Park. One reporting party said they had cash and a credit card taken from their wallet <br />that was left in their unlocked vehicle. A second individual indicated their wallet was <br />taken from their vehicle, which was also unlocked. Both victims had local fraudulent <br />charges on their personal credit/debit cards. Upon investigation, officers identified a <br />suspect that was in commission of the crime of financial transaction card fraud and <br />was also charged with tampering with a motor vehicle. Officers also identified a <br />suspect that was charged with aiding and abetting tampering with a motor vehicle and <br />aiding and abetting FTC Fraud. This case is under review by the Hennepin County <br />Attorney's Office. <br />Investigators received a call from a 68-year-old female victim of a fraud, Theft -by - <br />Swindle case, with an $85,000 loss in US currency. The suspect represented themselves <br />as a US Border Patrol Agent out of Texas. The "agent" told the female that they have <br />open cases against her and she needed to pay. He drove to her apartment on two <br />separate occasions, each time displaying federal identification and badges, which <br />turned out to be fake. On each visit to her home, the victim threw a bag of cash in the <br />back seat of the vehicle. The case is still an open investigation, however there are no <br />leads to locate or identify the scammer(s). <br />Criminal Sexual Conduct <br />Officers received a call from a juvenile stating that was a video being shared of her <br />having consensual sexual relations with a male. The juvenile RP was concerned that the <br />video was being disseminated without her consent. Investigators conducted several <br />interviews and executed search warrants on the digital media in question that resulted <br />in finding multiple pornographic videos that show the juvenile partaking in sexual <br />relations with a male who was recording the sexual acts he was partaking in with the <br />juvenile. The case is being reviewed by the Hennepin County Attorney's Office for Use <br />64 <br />
