<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />NO. 7585 <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING THE PLAT OF <br />SKY BLUE WATERS <br /> <br />FILE NO. LA25-000015 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono (hereinafter the “City”) is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter “City Council”) has <br />adopted subdivision and land development regulations for the orderly, economic, and safe <br />development of land within the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Tom Bray (the “Developer”) on behalf of Edward H. Hamm Jr., Trustee <br />of “Amendment and Restatement of Trust of Edward H Hamm dated October 10th 1995”, who is <br />the owner of the property addressed 485 Orono Orchard Road South and legally described <br />within Exhibit A (the “Property”); <br /> <br /> WHEREAS on January 6, 2025, the Developer applied for Preliminary Plat approval <br />to subdivide the Property into two (2) buildable lots. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its regular meeting on March 10, 2025, the Orono City Council <br />approved the Preliminary Plat (under application #LA25-000001) per the findings and conditions <br />of Resolution No. 7564; and approved the Developer’s request to terminate the Declaration of <br />Subdivision Covenants dated July 9, 1999 and recorded in the office of the Hennepin County <br />Recorder on April 14, 2000, as Document No. 7285795, by a 5 to 0 vote; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 28, 2025, the Developers applied for final plat approval. <br />The final plat application was deemed to be substantially complete on April 28, 2025, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Developer has agreed to comply with all conditions of Resolution <br />No. 7564 and has completed or has agreed to complete all other requirements of the platting <br />regulations of the City. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, based upon the findings of Resolution <br />No. 7564, the Orono City Council does hereby approve the plat of SKY BLUE WATERS <br />ADDITION, Hennepin County, Minnesota (a copy of which is attached as Exhibit B), subject to <br />the following conditions: <br /> <br />1) Development within SKY BLUE WATERS ADDITION is subject to the Conclusions, Orders, <br />and Conditions enumerated within Preliminary Plat Resolution No. 7564 dated March 10, <br />2025. <br />148
