Butzer, husband and <br /> wife (hereinafter "the applicants") are the owners of the property located at 2625 North <br /> Shore Drive within the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and legally described as <br /> follows: <br /> See Exhibit A <br /> (hereinafter the"property"); and � <br /> • WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono <br /> for a variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-1279 to allow a dormer on <br /> the lalce side of the home to be replaced with a larger dormer, while not increasing <br /> haxdcover,when the house is setback 39' from the lake when 75' is normally required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br /> Orono,Minnesota: . <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#04-3053. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR — lA zoning district, which requires a <br /> minimum lot area of two (2) acres. The applicants' lot is 1.97 acres in <br /> size. <br /> 3. The Planning Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing <br /> held on October 18, 2004 and recommended approval of the variance <br /> based on the following findings: <br /> a.
