Minutes <br />Planning Commission Regular Meeting <br />Monday, March 17, 2025, 6:00 PM <br />City Council Chambers 2780 Kelley Parkway, Orono, NIN 55356 <br />McCutchen moved, Jarnot seconded, to approve LA25oft 4745 North Shore Drive, After -the - <br />Fact Conditional Use Permit Amendments as built conditioned on a landscaping plan and <br />engineering review. VOTE: Ayes: 5, Nays 0. <br />5.2 LA25-0000095 MIDCO, 3245 WAYZATA BLVD. WEST, INTERIM USE PERMIT <br />The Planning Commission is requested to review the Staff report, receive a presentation, and discuss and <br />approve the interim use permit for temporary facilities for construction. <br />The Planning Commission discussed the item and asked questions of staff and representatives of the <br />applicant, Midco of Wayzata. <br />Chair Bollis opened the public hearing at 6:56 p.m. <br />There were no public comments. <br />Chair Bollis closed the public hearing at 6:56 p.m. <br />Commissioners agreed the plan was necessary and the temporary location for construction materials was <br />workable. <br />Ressler moved, McCutcheon seconded, to approve LA25-000009, 3245 Wayzata Blvd W, Interim <br />Use Permit. VOTE: Ayes: 5, Nays 0. <br />5.3 LA25-000002, CITY OF ORONO TEXT AMENDMENT: CITY CODE SECTION 78-1279(6) — <br />AVERAGE LAKESHORE SETBACK <br />The Planning Commission is requested to review the Staff report, receive a presentation, and discuss and <br />approve the amendment to the City Code to clarify Average Lakeshore Setback and correct typos. <br />The Plamiing Commission discussed the item and asked questions of staff. <br />Chair Bollis opened the public hearing at 7:02 p.m. <br />There were no public comments. <br />Chair Bollis closed the public hearing at 7:02 p.m. <br />Commissioners agreed with the Staff presentation. <br />McCutheon moved, Ressler seconded, to approve LA25-000002, City of Orono Text Amendment: <br />City Code Section 78-1279(6).
