City of Orono <br />Council Members <br />The following people petition the City of Orono <./aluate <br />the purchase of a surface drainage easement from the owners <br />of Lot 17, Bk 3 Navarre Heights, to provide a means of <br />removing excess water from Livingston Avenue. <br />We feel the relatively small volume of water does not justify <br />such a large expense of over $30,000. We feel that a small <br />surface easement for a much smaller amount of money would <br />be adequate. We also feel that the expense of providing <br />for removal of water from the street should be paid for by <br />the city, just as the cost of snow removal is paid for by <br />the city.
