Mabusth, Building & Zoning Administrator <br />Date: May 17, 1989 <br />Subject: #1396 Minnetonka Boat Works, 1449 Shoreline Drive - <br />Conditional Use Permit/Variance - Resolution <br />The enclosed resolution has been drafted per Council's <br />conceptual direction at the May 8th, 1989 meeting. Please make <br />any additions or amendments as deemed necessary. The final site <br />plan has not been submitted as of this writing and will be <br />attached to this resolution as part of the permanent record. <br />Staff has staked the location of the cross-walk so that <br />Council may evaluate placement and sighting distance from on­ <br />coming east and west cars. <br />The Police Department conducted a survey of the speeds of <br />west bound and east bound traffic within the subject area on <br />Sunday, May 14, 1989 between the hours of 5 and 7. The total <br />traffic count was 219 vehicles. Please review the enclosed <br />tabulation sheets. The study found that speed limits were within <br />10 mph ^f the posted limit.
