LHCD Board 4/26/89 <br />SuMmer Monitoring is about to begin. A boat count to deternine hoM Ioh <br />Nater affects the lake use will be analysed. <br />There are five new sub-conuaittee starts plus the sueoier eonitoring <br />progran presently being prepared. May is the third quarterly, report due to the <br />Metropolitan Council, scheduled for the May 16. <br />5. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT <br />a) Adainistrative Progress <br />Stroaoen proposed activating c cers* review eeeting, between <br />board Meetings, to discuss the raroifi. of public service and <br />adoinistrative issues the District is dealin.; with. He suggested the meeting be <br />open to all Board oeebers, held on a pre-scheduled basis. <br />Hurr will work with Stro«me.i to set up a date with notice to ail Members <br />and the public. <br />b) The Executive Diretor's priority meetings and exchanges report <br />will be Mailed to the Board. <br />6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />A. Upper Minnetonka Yacht Club/RDP Partners <br />It was moved by Pi 11sbury,seconded by Cochran, to approve the Findings <br />of Fact in the matter of the application of the Upper Minnetonka Yacht Club/RDP <br />Partners for a new dock license, special density permit and variance as <br />determined at a Public Hearing on December 17, 1980, as prepared by Attorneyt <br />Lefevre. Motion carried, Rascop abstaining. <br />7. BUSINESS <br />a) 1989 Dock License Renewals <br />It was moved by Rascop, seconded by Cochran, to approve 32 <br />applications for renewal of dock licenses, including Orders and stipulations, <br />certificates having been received from the Villages. Motion carrie** <br />unanimously. <br />b) Temporary Extension Requests <br />It was moved by Pillsbury, seconded by Lewman, to approve the <br />following temporary dock extensions: <br />Lyle Berman, Area 29, City of Wayzata <br />from 100* to 200* subject to review by the Hater Patrol for <br />possible navigation hazard condition <br />Chimo Association, Area 34, City of Deephaven <br />from 97‘ to 147*
