(Note: Minutes of 4/8/B9 <br />in error in stating 61 units rather than 67). <br />It was moved by Cochran, seconded by Reese, to instruct the Attorney to <br />prepare a Special Density Resolution. <br />DISCUSSION: Stroomen repor::2d the applicant withdrew the fishing pier and <br />parking for the fishing pier amenities following the April 8 Public Hearing. <br />Hurr reported the City of Orono Planning Commission has forwarded the request to <br />their Council with oo recommendation, indicating concern about traffic. <br />The following amenities were presented at the April 8, 1989 <br />Public Hearing: <br />1. Public Fishing Pier (Withdrawn) <br />2. <br />(Withdrawn) <br />Limited number of Parking Spaces for the Fishing Pier. <br />3. One (1) Auto Look-Out <br />4. Provide waste containers and its disposal <br />5. Provide Public Restroom Facilities <br />6. Provide one (1) slip for public agencies or the Hater Patrol to <br />use for emergency purposes. <br />7. Satisfy the drainage requirements of the governing authorities <br />8. Provide green Screening and vegetation cover per City of Orono's <br />Ordinance. <br />Lomen said the amenities presented at the April 14 Public Hearing for the <br />Wayzata location are intended to serve both locations as follows: <br />1. Restaurant <br />2. Restaurant deck overlooking the bay, open to the public. <br />3. Additional benches along the boardwalks <br />4. One (1) slip for Hater Patrol purposes at Orono <br />5. Access and use of Minnetonka Boat Horks shop boat for the Hayzata <br />Fire Department’s emergency use <br />6. Meeting room at Sasha's Restaurant available for public use, upon <br />reservation <br />- continued
