Mayor <br />May 8, 1989 <br />SUBJECT: City Administrator Evaluation and Contract <br />Attachment: Annual City Administrator Evaluation Memo Dated <br />2/15/89 <br />The City Administrator's annual review this year consists of the <br />following: <br />- Cotmcil evaluation of performance <br />- Determination if we are going to extend the contract <br />- Any changes in the terras of the contract <br />- Patting of goals and objectives for the next year <br />Since I have not received anyone's evaluation sheet back I have <br />asked to have it sent to you again. I would like to have you <br />fill this out and have a copy sent to me. <br />I have discussed with Mark areas he would like to have changed in <br />the contract which include: <br />A. ) Length of notification of resignation from 60 to <br />either 30 or 45 days notice. Now that the initial 4 <br />years are over (Section II, Para B.) <br />B. ) Continue the severance on discharge at 3 months <br />(same as the 4th year.) (Section III.) <br />I would suggest the following other changes: <br />A. ) Extension of the contract for 1 year. <br />B. ) Amendment of the current salary. (Section IV.) <br />I have asked a salary survey be prepared updating past <br />information on other positions which will be provided in advance <br />of the next meeting. <br />Please feel free to contact me at your convenience.
