Q <br />Q <br />Q <br />nul <br />Li <br />] <br />i <br />Mii <br />DISCUSSION <br />The City of Orono has requested this report to determine the feasibility <br />of constructing a storm sever system in the Navarre Heights Area. There is <br />currently a drainage problem for the property owners on lots 16 and 17, Block <br />3 of the Navarre Heights subdivision. The property owners desires to expand <br />their home and cannot do so unless the drainage problem is solved. <br />The storm water runoff between Navarre Avenue and Blaine Avenue on <br />Livingston Avenue collects between Lots 16 and 17. The storm water then <br />drains to the north west through back yards to Crystal Place. There is a <br />culvert under Crystal Place that drains the water onto the railroad right of <br />way. <br />The drainage area is shown on figure 1 at the back of this report. There <br />is a total of 8.8 acres in the drainage area. <br />The proposed project would provide 15 and 18 inch storm sewer across the <br />property to solve the drainage problem.
