5.555 <br />ROSEVILLE <br />ZONING CODE <br />5.555. Office Service Buildings. <br />"Office Service Buildings" are buildings in which the principal <br />use and overall appearance is that of a typical office building, <br />but in which up to 50 percent of the total floor area may be <br />devoted to a related service function such as wholesaling, <br />retailing, fabrication, processing, and storage related thereto, <br />and shall have a ceiling height restricted to fourteen (14) <br />feet. Truck loading docks attached to such buildings shall be <br />located in a courtyard area, fully enclosed by office service <br />buildings, except for ingress and egress openings. <br />5.560. Parking Space. Automobile. <br />A suitably surfaced and permanently maintained area, either <br />within or c -side of a building, of sufficient size to store one <br />automobile as specified in this ordinance. A general standard of <br />three hundred (300) square feet per space shall be used for <br />computing parking requirements. <br />* <br />70. Rest Home (Nursing Home). <br />A private home for the care of children, or the aged or <br />infirmed, or a place of rest for those suffering bodily <br />disorders. Such home does not contain equipment for surgical <br />care or for the treatment of disease or injury, nor does it <br />include maternity care or care of mental illness. <br />5.575. Restaurant. <br />A restaurant is an establishment selling foods prepared for <br />consumption of customers, and shall include the following sub- <br />classifications: <br />Traditional Restaurant: A traditional restaurant is a <br />restaurant where a majority of the customers select their <br />food while seated at a counter or table. <br />Cafeteria Restaurant: A cafeteria restaurant is a <br />restaurant where a majority of the customers select their <br />food at a serving line, and consume the food at a table or <br />counter. <br />Fast Food Restaurant: A fast food restaurant is a <br />restaurant where a majority of the customers order food and <br />are served food at a counter and the food is thereafter <br />taken to a table, counter , or off the premises for <br />consumption. <br />Drive-In Restaurant: A drive-in restaurant is a restaurant <br />where a majority of the customers order and consume their <br />food in an automobile parked on the premises.
