Notion, Ayes 6, Mays 0. <br />CONPUBBHSXVB PLAN ANEHDNENT. <br />NO, 2 - <br />COUnHUATZON OP PUBLIC BEARING <br />Consultant Planner John Shardlow was present for this <br />matter. <br />City Ao^.,nistrator Bernhardson explained that the <br />Conipr«h«n«iv« Plan document preeented la the culnlnatlon <br />of the Highway 12 Corridor Study which atarted In <br />..eptember 1985, The document implements the changes to <br />the comprehensive plan and will be presented to the <br />Metropolitan Council with the appropriate application in <br />order that the tity may have the appropriate MUSA line <br />extension approved by the Metro Council together with <br />various other revleo by Met Council of significant <br />ira^cta on the regional systems. This planning document <br />be used as development takes place within the <br />corridor. He reviewed the following final items for <br />Planning Commlssinn to conceptually review and make <br />their recommendationst <br />A. North Brown Road Alternatives <br />B. Area 4 - Sid Rebers Property <br />C. Area E - Requirement to Extend Municipal Services <br />Request from Clci (Busy Beaver Day Care Center) to <br />connect the new facility to the the Long Lake Citv <br />Water t Sewer System. ^ <br />D. Engineer's Report - Concerning existing capacity <br />of Long Lake water system and impact of proposed <br />Orono use at 600 sewer unit level. <br />E. Elsenger - Written request to withdraw request <br />for sower for consideration with the current <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment. <br />P. Further discussion cf Areas 1,2,3, and 5. <br />Lake City Engineer, was present end made the following commentst <br />1. Regarding the traffic pian. Long Lake Is opposed <br />to any option that closes North Brown Road. <br />2. Regarding a south frontage road from Willow Drive <br />to Daniel St., there is concern about the traffic on Daniel Street. <br />3. Regarding the water issue - Long Mke will review <br />hook up to its water system with <br />consideration of demand and if Long Lake can support the system.
