2889.7 <br />A ISSOLUnON OF AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER AGREEMENT <br />WITH STATE OF MINNESOTA FOR <br />PRELIMINARY BREATH TEST INSTRUMENTS <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Orono enter into an <br />agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Public <br />Safety for the purpose of receiving from the State of Minnesota, <br />Department of Public Safety, preliminary breath test instruments <br />on a loan basis for use by law enforcemnt officers to assist in <br />the detection of motorists who may be in violation of Minnesota <br />Statutes Section 169.121, or local ordinances in conformity <br />therewith. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Cleric be <br />and they hereby are authorized to execute such agreement. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br />Minnesota at a regular meeting held February 13, 1989. <br />Edward J.
