OS-3134 <br /> VVHEREAS, Richaid F. Crosby and Patricia L. Crosby, husband and wife <br /> (hereinafter "the applicants") are the owners of the property located at 2705 Walters Port <br /> Lane within the City of Orono (hereinafter the"City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 2, Block 3, Walters Port, Hennepin County,Minnesota(hereinafter the ' <br /> "property"); and <br /> • WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono <br /> for a variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-1288 to allow a hardcover <br /> variance within the 0 -75' zone for 201 s.f. or 2.5% hardcover where 0%o is normally <br /> allowed and 343 s.f. or 4.2% currently exists and a variance for the 75' -250' zone for <br /> 7,885 s.f. or 45.9% hardcover where 25% is normally allowed and 9,007 s.f. or 52.5% <br /> currently exists in order to construct a 340 s.f. attached garage addition. . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br /> • Orono, Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File OS-3134. <br />. 2. The property is located in the LR-1B One Family Lakeshore Residential <br /> Zoning District which requires a minimum lot area of 1.0 acre and a <br /> � minimum lot width of 140'. <br /> 3. The Planning Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing <br /> held on July 18 and August 15; 2005 and recommended approval of <br /> hardcover variances based on the following findings: <br /> • a.
